Thumbnail view - crashing

    Thumbnail view - crashing

    every now and then, when i am browsing my images using the thumbnail view it crashes whenever i click on a folder. it doesn't happen all the time and the weird part is that when i restart the tool and click on the same folder it works with no problem. but i have noticed that it does it sporadically. i am running windows xp pro sp2 on a dell xps m1710 laptop. i have the latest irfanview version and plug-ins: 4.10.

    any ideas what could the issue be?

    Let me guess, you're PC has a dual core or quad core processor.

      sorry and thanks for the advice. i guess i am being lazy by not searching first. but it seems that the issue is due to the dual processor. i will read the postings related to the issue. again, thanks!
