Exif file
I did a rename with an older version of irfanview and lost all of the exif information. Does anyone know if I can somehow get the information back, because it contained all my setting information. Maybe a software or other source to regain the information.

You might try a recovery program, but I doubt it would help since the file was renamed rather than deleted or moved. If the information is gone, it is gone.Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"

Plurals do not require apostrophes -
The rename was on a photo that was important. Now all the camera settings are gone from the exif file. Recovery from windows will not help because I loaded the photos from the camera and renamed them the same day. Any other suggestions.Originally posted by bscheller1 View PostComment
