Embedded Colour Profile

I'm using IV to convert large PSD files produced in Photoshop CS2 to small 800 Px long side jpegs by using the batch conversion command and the resulting files do not have an embedded colour profile hence IV displays the colours incorrectly and quite differently to CS2. If I use CS2 to create the jpegs they display correctly in both CS2 and IV.

Also if I open the PSD in IV it does not recognise the colour profile.

Am I missing a setting in IV to preserve the embedded colour profile from a PSD?

Does it change something if you toggle one of these checkboxes?

Check the box that says "Use embedded color profiles for JPG/TIF (Plugin) in Properties, Viewing.
