    Batch Crop bottom 50 pixels

    I want to crop off the bottom 50 pixels of a bunch of photos of all different sizes. I don't care what the final sizes are, I just want that bottom 50 pixels off. Is there a way to do this in Irfanview? I was messing around with the xy coordinate settings, etc but I wasn't able to make it happen.

    Do it in three stages

    1. Flip vertically
    2. Crop
    3. Flip vertically

      Ahhh so simple....

      Ok, well I've never tried doing the batch crop before and I'm struggling to get it working correctly. Nothing seems to happen when I use the x, y coordinate settings. The only time anything actually gets cropped is when I change the height or width settings. But that won't work for this group of pictures since they're all different sizes. I tried checking off the other options - top left, top right, etc, but still nothing happens. Either I'm doing something wrong or there's a bug. I'm using v4.1 on XP Pro.

      Please tell me exactly what to input in order to remove the top 50 pixels of a batch of photos and I'll try that to see if it works.

        You don't need 3 stages - you can do it in 1.
        The Width and Height figures you enter just need to be bigger than any actual sizes and IrfanView will crop along the far edges.
        In Batch Advanced set Crop to something like;
        X= 0 Y= 50 Width = 9999 Height = 9999 and select Right Bottom as the corner to crop from.
