I am currently running 3.97 because it seems to run better with a program called DDS. I am able to call up a drawing from DDS and irfan automatically opens it up in a viewer. The file is also automatically stored in my temp folder. I upgraded to 4.10 and that capability went away. I now have to go to my temp folder and open it from there. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? I am running windows XP. Thanks.

Dds
DDS is just a database that we use to extract drawings. Using 3.97 we hit the lunch to view button and they open up in irfan. With 4.10 the drawing goes straight into my temp folder. I'm just wondering why 3.97 opens up and 4.10 doesn't.Comment

Probably you didn't associate IrfanView with The DDS extension. See attachment.
You need to have the plug-ins installed for that.
