Opening a cdr file.

I have downloaded the trial version of corel draw and managed to open the file but it still has all his details on the flyer.

Unless there are restrictions, can't you edit the document in CorelDraw? Remove his details and add yours. If you are uncomfortable with the program, you should export the flyer into another format (especially before the trial expires!), and edit it elsewhere. Consequently, it will be harder to do a quality job outside of CorelDraw without its tools, but it may be more comfortable to you.
