How do I skip viewing non-image files when browsing the next file in the directory?

For example, I have a directory with image files and sound files, but I only want Irfanview to go to the next image files when I press left and right arrow keys. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Also, even though in Properties/Settings Misc. 1 I checked "Always jump to next image if Arrow or Page keys (or mouse wheel) pressed", when I'm viewing a large image, when I press the right arrow key it scrolls the image instead of jumping to the next image. How do I fix this?

I have Irfanview 4.20 and the plugins 4.20. I am using Windows Vista.

See the options in Properties, Extensions. You can choose which file types to load while browsing.

Thanks, it worked. Any ideas on why "Jump always to next image" isn't working?

It is badly named. The option "Always jump to next image if Arrow or Page keys (or mouse wheel) pressed" only applies to fullscreen images (for Arrow keys and Page Up/Page Down keys). Rotating the mouse wheel forward or back also works if this option is checked but not pressing the mouse wheel as might be implied.

Space/backspace will work at any time in any mode

Page Up/Page Down keys do work in window mode for large images, just like rotating the mouse wheel.
