Capture box seletions coordinates

is it possible after mouse selection of a rectangle
to get the coordinates in some text file or clipboard ?

during the selection irfan gui show the selection coordinates(x,y,width hight) in the form panel

If you want to copy the selection's size and position to another image open in Irfan View, use the Save Current Values Button.

In the custom selection dialogue (shift C).

There are a couple of things you should know about this feature though. Before you use it open the Create Custom Crop Selection dialog from the edit menu (or by pressing Shift+C) and make sure that "None" is selected on the left side of the box. Save that by clicking "Apply to image".
Now when you open Create Custom Crop with the selection displayed the dimensions shown in Selection size/position will be those of the box that you have drawn and you can save them by clicking on "Save Current values". Close the dialog by pressing "Apply to image" or the X, top right of window.
When you want to use those dimensions again make sure that you do not have a selection box displayed when you open the dialog. Then the values are what you saved and you can apply them directly by clicking "Apply to image".
