resampling | loading next image in background

Hello, please can IrfanView resample the image when zooming in / out?
After making a big image fit to the window, it looks terrible... I didn't find a way to set this up, if is it possible...

and a second question - is there a possiblity to load the next image in the background while viewing the 'previous' one? So it won't take the time when i press the arrow key because it would be prepared...

You can only have resampled zooming in windowed mode in certain display modes. Fullscreen resampling only applies to fitting images.
