Retrieving cursor-position informations

Suppose you're on a map at the position xy (3676,6145)

(You can see this position by left click)

Is that possible to retrieve(edit) that information (x=3676 ; y=6145)?

Click and drag, then Shift C to create a custom selection. The x,y co-ordinates of the top left corner of the selection are given in that dialogue.
