Trojan detected in download

Downloading the plugins from your default location at software.com triggers a virus alert in VirusScan.

Downloading the same file from http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/plugin..._423_setup.exe works fine.

The plugins were downloaded from the official link on the IrfanView plugins page to Software.com

I downloaded the plugins again to check, and found that the installer has no file extension. Scanning the file with Avast Antivirus tells me that it contains no trojans.

The most likely cause is a false positive by your virus scanner. False positives are not at all unusual. Make sure that you keep it bang up to date.
