    Converting JPG to EPS

    I need to convert a JPG picture to EPS. As far as I could find it is only possible to read EPS files.
    Does anybody know how to convert JPG to EPS (with or without IrfanView)?

    EPS files are vectors — JPG files are bitmaps. To convert bitmaps to vectors you need some drawing program that can do some auto-tracing.

    DrawPlus X3 does pretty well on many images, but it doesn't output directly to EPS, though PDF is just as good. Why do you need EPS ?

    Vector Magic will do as good a job as I have seen.

      PDFCreator will do it, but the results might not suit another program's needs.

      Plurals do not require apostrophes
