File Types to Associate with IrfanView

In the download instructions it says "Do you want to associate extensions with Irfanview? What does that mean? Which ones should I check? I use this to edit and print photo images of my paintings.

Associating file types with IrfanView tells Windows which file types will open with it when you double-click on a file in Windows Explorer.

You can change the settings after installation from Options, Properties, Extensions.
