Second window in color correction blank

Hi
Since installing v4.25 my CC window on left is OK but rt side is white (blank) and if I try to save changes, I just end up with the white (blank)

any ideas appreciated

Hi there

CC is short for Color Corrections

The box can be displayed either by menu - Index - Color Corrections

or

Shift G

The pop up box has 2 panes - one on the left side (Original Image) and one on the right side (New Image)

The left side (Original Image) shows my pic, but the right side (New Image) is white, possibly blank

I dowsn't matter which 'Correction' optioons I choose, the right side (New Image) does not change and if I click 'Apply to Original' the original pic becomes white (or blank)

I can reproduce that if I slide the brightness slider to maximum.

Yes, you are correct .... I can get an image of sorts by sliding all controls (RGB, Contrast, Sat etc) towards middle

however, I then end up with a truly unworkable image which can take a long time to look remotely normal

Versions ago, I would have 2 identical images (left and right) and could then slightly alter - now I start from white and go backwards -

I thought it might a config issue ... however ....

Why is your brightness slider not in the centre when you open the dialogue?

What do you get if you click on "Set default values?"

Is "Save values on exit" in lower-left corner checked?
