Clone stamp

When zooming in close and using the clone stamp, it takes a considerable amount of time for the stamp process to occur.
I sample, then place the stamp..................... then wait for the stamp to do it's thing................ I recall with the previous version I could stamp as fast as I wanted to. The delay and waiting is unbelievably slow. It pretty much makes the tool useless.
I helped a friend download this version and it happens on her computer too.
I have a Sony VAIO PC with 1024mb RAM and a 2.65gh Pentium 4 processor if that helps.

Turn off resampling for zooming from the View menu.

Thanks, that helped. Still seems a little slow, but a lot better.
