A couple of questions regarding functionnality availability

I'm currently evaluating IrfanView to replace my current photo viewer software and I have a couple of questions for you... I went through the FAQ & Online Help, but couldn't find the answers so I'll ask here.

    Thumbnail view:
    1. Is there a way to show, in the thumbnail section (not in the directory tree section) all the sub-directories? (so I would see, for example, a thumbnail for SubDir_A, SubDirB, PictureA, PictureB, ...)
    2. Is there a way to see a preview of the MPG files? I can get a preview for the MOV files (1st frame of the movie), but the MPG files only show a camera icon even though I have Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 installed and the MPG.dll plugin.
    3. Is there a way to see every single file in that directory? (so I would quickly see if I have unwanted files in my photo directory because they will only be shown as icon, like the "Thumbs.)

    Normal View:
    1. When I zoom in, is there a way to get back to the "fit to screen" zoom?
    2. Is there a way to preview the JPG Looseless transformations (rotations, crop, ...) before applying them? Is there some help available to explain the options on this plugin?
    3. Is there a way to always keep the window the same size? (currently, the IrfanView window expands/shrink depending on the picture shown)
    4. Currently, when I go through my files, I can see, one after the other, all the images in my directory but when I encounter a MPG file, it briefly (like less than a second) show the IrfanView Multimedia Player (saying "Opening"), then closes it and get back to IrfanView saying "No file loaded". It must be a setting I changed while trying to figure out the other things, but I can't find which one... How can I correct this so that I can browse my videos as well?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer me... and for the great program you've built (already using it since a couple of years due to it's portability )
