Paste Clipboard Contents Automatically

i use irfanview all day every day for pasting screen captures

i think it would be a cool feature or option that you could turn on that would "auto paste" whatever is in your "print screen" as soon as irfanview opens

this "auto paste" feature would only happen when opening a new session of irfanview. of course you would not want "auto paste" when opening a file with irfanview

so in other words when i click on irfanview in the quick launch toolbar, my screen cap would automatically be pasted into irfanview

i just thought how to make it even more cooler. as soon as i press the print screen button. irfanview automatically opens and pastes the screen capture

Edit the shortcut used to launch IrfanView. I have been using this for years:

"C:\Program Files\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" /clippaste

Try FastStone Capture and you will find it has a button for launching captures in any external editor like IrfanView, which doesn't use the Windows Clipboard.
