IrfanView Thumbnail Needs To Be Smarter

Hey Guys:

I wish to use IrfanView Thumbnails to quickly view collections of documents, but......
1. Can I have it come up to where it was in the directory structure the last time I used it?
2. Is there an add-on to use a slidebar to quickly change thumbnail size?

This program may be the ideal solution I have been looking for if I can get these two issues resolve.

1) Options, Properties, Start/Exit Option, start with last used folder.

2) No. You can only change the size of the thumbnails in thumbnail options. A slider control would actually slow the program down a great deal because thumbnails would have to be regenerated each time you moved the slider. IrfanView does not cache thumbnails either, which though already requested by some can cause other problems.
