i would like to flip a gif. ... to face the opposite direction ...
... "image" won't allow me to rotate ...
... i searched threads but didn't find an answer ...

If its an animated gif image, there is not a lot you can do with it. To edit a gif image, extract all frames and rotate, or flip, the individual frames, but IrfanView cannot recombine them into an animated gif. Try FastStone Viewer or use a proper animation program for that.

FastStone Viewer does create animated gifs. After extracting the frames and rotating them, you can create an animated GIF with FastStone Viewer.

Try your good friend Google for other animation programs.

... it flipped an animated gif. with the rotate button ...
