Batch Convert NEF Files

Is there a way to batch convert a folder of Nikon NEF files directly to JPG?

Just add the files from the batch dialogue and set the options you want.

Hmmm... why have you selected the NEF format if you just simple convert them to jpg?
It might be usefull to have a simple converter like IrfanView but you better use a raw converter for such files because you can do much more than just convert...
