Not sure what's going on with Irfanview, but sometimes when I am working with scanned images I get a green graph. At that point Irfanview is basically dead. What is going on and what can I do to prevent it....or what can I stop doing? Thanks for any help.

Here is a screen shot. I had scanned in a single photo, cropped and saved and not sure what else I did, but suddenly this popped up. From here the only way I can recover is to kill IV and start over. Notice the 1/9 where does that come from I only scanned 1 image.
