Solved .png images not displaying - v4.28

I've been using IView for years and am pretty sure I've opened a .png image in it once or twice but today they're not displaying - just a black background. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. Changed file name - no change. No problems with .jpg, .bmp or .gif files. No other problems with system that I'm aware of. OS completely up to date.

Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide.

Probably a black PNG with a transparent background. Try changing the default window colour in options.

Right you are. First time I've run across that sort of thing. Changed the default color to white and there it was! Thanks so much for the fast reply!
