Irfanview is saving all files as 0kb size (which are unusable)

    Hi there,

I've been using Irfanview to take screencaps, but today, for some reason, it's started saving images as 0kb. (tried with .gif, .jpg & .png)

I've tried it on 2 different computers & both are doing the same. Both are running WinXP with SP3.

    What I'm doing:

    - hit Alt-PrtScrn
    - paste into IrfanView
    - crop the image how i want
    - save as a gif (normally)

I got an error if I try & open one of these files:

    <path/to/file.gif> : Can't read file header !
Unknown file format or file not found !

So, I downloaded & installed (reinstalled actually, I think) all the plugins. But no luck, still can't save an image anymore!

I'd really appreciate any assistance, thanks in advance!

Ok - sorry to bother you all, have realised I had run out of space on the drive!

(maybe as a future enhancement, IrfanView could report that, rather than saving 0kb files?)

    Cheers!

Don't you get any error messages at all?
