Not able to open pictures in Irfanview
I have used Irfanview for years and love it. However, all of a sudden I cannot open pictures with Irfanview even though I have it set to open all pictures. I can only open pictures now with Windows Picture Viewer. Can you help? Thanks.

Can you open images if you open IrfanView first from its shortcut?

What are your settings in program menu: \Options\Properties/Settings...\ → "Extensions"?
Which OS and IV version you are using?
Please consider: You must start as Admin on Vista or Win7 to set associated file extensions with IrfanView!Attached FilesComment
