Batch Convert to Greyscale an entire Folder and Sub-Directories??

Hi

I have one folder with multiple sub-directories each including RGB JPG files that I want to convert to Greyscale files.

I want all files to be overwritten without prompts/confirmations and keep their original date/time info

I can't find an option to simply select an entire folder as input....all I can seem to find is a way to select files individually

I need to simply select a folder and have all contents converted as above.

How can I do this?? It seems like it should be a very easy process but no matter how hard I look, I do not see an option to select a folder and it's sub-directories as input....only single files.

I'm brand new to this software so any and all help is appreciated!!

One can do this, but one cannot recreate the subfolder structure in the output folder so files with the same name in different subfolders will overwrite those converted earlier.

So am I understanding this correctly...

If I have the following...

C:\Folder\SubFolder1\test.jpg

and then I have a file in a different subdirectory like

C:\Folder\SubFolder2\test.jpg

I run the conversion and the file in SubFolder1 called test.jpg would overwrite the file in SubFolder2 called test.jpg?

Try it and see; don't take my word for it. I have not tested it.
