TIF and EXIF - Can IrfanView v4.33 keep Exif information in TIF format?

1. I open a TIF file and the Exif information is there.
2. I resize to a smaller size. (Ctrl + R)
3. I save as a TIF file ( I don't want a JPG) but with a different name.

Now the Exif information is gone from the new TIF

Can IrfanView v4.33 keep the Exif information and save as a TIF file?

No. It can only save Exif info in a JPG to a JPG.

Do you know of any tool that will transfer Exif information from a TIF to a TIF?

I hope future IrfanView v4.34 can do it.

Hi.

I faces the same set of problmes when stitching several jpg's and the resulting image file is a tiff. The original Exif will be lost in the process, so I always save a smaller copy of one jpg images in the same folder just to preserve the Exif info. I will do that untill a program that can transfer Exif info between image files gets avaiable.
