"Fit to screen" not working as expected

Folks

When I view images larger than my screen resolution they are viewed at the larger resolution and appear with a scroll bar. When I go to Properties/Settings >> Full-Screen >> Full Screen/Slideshow display options the default Fit to Screen - larger images only (recommended) is indeed selected.

So why doesn't IrFanView do what that setting appears to mean? V4.10, Windows XP SP2 fully patched.

If you have a scrollbar then you're not in Fullscreen mode, so those options do not apply to Windowed mode. Take a look at the View, Display Options menu.

Ah, thanks, that was the solution. I didn't realize that there were similar options elsewhere.
