How to Add Overlay Text for gimbal pitch and aircraft heading?

The existing functionality to add overlay text has always been one of my favorite features of IrfanView. However, I'm not sure how I might go about getting the Gimbal Pitch and Heading to be added to the text overlay without an appropriate placeholder that are visible in the XMP section of the image metadata; e.g., $GimbalPitch, $FlightYaw

Is this even possible for IrfanView?

I can see these options for text pattern in the help file:
    $E400 - GPSVersionID
    $E401 - GPSLatitudeRef
    $E402 - GPSLatitude
    $E403 - GPSLongitudeRef
    $E404 - GPSLongitude
    $E405 - GPSAltitudeRef
    $E406 - GPSAltitude
    $E407 - GPSTimeStamp
    $E416 - GPSImgDirectionRef
    $E417 - GPSImgDirection
    $E429 - GPSDateStamp
$E499 - returns GPSLatitude and GPSLongitude values in one line, OK for e.g. Google Maps for HTML-Export feature

Yes, thank you, I saw them too, only $E417 didn't result in any value being added to the overlay text, and their is nothing available for the gimbal pitch. Both are in the XMP section of the metadata.

XMP is not supported by IrfanView, unfortunately.

Thanks JendaLinda, that's what I suspected.
On a related matter, if I export selected metadata using ExifTool (command line interface), is it possible to coax IrfanView to use its output .txt file for adding a text overlay in IrfanView?

You can open a text file in IV and copy then paste onto your picture...
