Can slideshow play short, random parts of my video files?

I love how Irfanview can play slideshow of all my photos sitting on my networked server. I also know that it can play videos.

Is it possible to include videos in slideshows? Specifically: is it possible to play short, random parts of my videos in a slideshow?
Like for example, a home video file is like 3 minutes. I would like (in the slideshow) just a random 30 second part of that video.

PS: I have used another slideshow program which does that - Random Photo Screensaver. But it has major issues with video playback. So I was wondering if Irfanview can do it.

No responses mean I guess it is not do-able, is it?
Or does it mean that this is easily do-able and I need to read the %%% manual? RTFM ;-) ??
