how to hide or create mozaic on certain words or part of graphics

i use Irfan View v4.62 on 32 bit Windows.

After I screen capture, how do I hide/cover certain portion of my graphics by putting a mozaic so people will not be able to see that portion?

As well as IrfanView 4.62, make sure that you have also downloaded and installed the PlugIns (see the Downloads page).

Select the region you want to blur.

Then menu Image > Effects > Blur or Image > Effects > Pixelize

Also have a look at Image > Effects > Effects browser... (or use shortcut Ctrl+E)

thank u for your comments. I installed the plug-in and did per your instruction but it did not create the blurr effect. My steps:

1) opened my jpg file with Irfanview
2) i select the region to create blurr.
3) Image|Effects|Blurr

but nothing happening.

isnt there a bar to adjust the level somewhere?

Open the Effects Browser to adjust the level and choose the blur type.

Gaussian Blur is much more effective than a simple blur.
