No matter what I do Irfanview keeps playing videos,mp3's,texts

I'm using Win10. Irfanview 4.62 I've seen the post below about Win11 and using Powershell. I've been trying for some time to get Irfanview to just play pictures. It's completely disturbing when I hit the space bar to advance to the next picture but instead get all the other file types in that folder. It used to do this for years and years no problem. I've also been using Win10 for many years without this problem. It started when I updated Irfanview. Is there an older version that doesn't do this. If so, could someone say how to completely uninstall and reinstall the older version? Thanks.

Settings, Extensions, Load Custom File Type, Get Minimal Types, or edit the list to exclude only file types that you don't want to open while browsing.

Upgrading may have reset IrfanView to the default settings.
