Irfanview opens AVIF files for me no problem if I doubleclick on an AVIF file outright, however if I'm browsing through the pictures in a folder (scrolling through) that contains a mix of jpeg images and AVIF, the jpeg images get shown normally, but AVIFs get skipped over.
Just to clarify what I mean by the latter in case it's confusing, say you have a folder with 5 JPEGs and 5 AVIFs, I open a JPEG with Irfanview and then from within Irfanview I start mouse scrolling (which, in my case at least, moves to the next file in the folder), the JPEGs get shown fine, but all the AVIFs get skipped over. Yet if I close Irfanview and just double click on any of the AVIFs it opens them fine.
Anyone know what the problem may be?
