Inches are meaningless for digital images, unless they are being printed. There is no option for inches or centimetres on the resize dialog either.
Try using /dpi=(300,300) then /resize=(w,h) in inches/300Before you post ... Edit your profile • IrfanView 4.67 • Windows 10 Home 19045.2486

You can't specify units in the command line. Set the DPI resolution according to your printer's resolution. Specify the image size in pixels. You can calculate the size in pixels from inches by multiplying the dimensions by the DPI value. DPI means number of pixels per inch.My system: IrfanView 4.62 64bit, Windows 10 22H2, Intel Core i5-3570, 16GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB
