Why not start IrfanPaint automatically with IrfanView?

      @MItaly,

Inspired by the thread: "Just found IrfanPaint plugin" I've got an idea!
Why not add an option, in order to start IrfanPaint automatically with IrfanView (with the first opened picture)?

It may be useful, but you have to ask it to Irfan, since I have no control over anything until IP is started.

I noticed that build 066 dated 23/12/2008 released with IrfanView 4.22 still has beta status. Is that correct?

Yes, it is correct. Irfan made a mistake taking that version, but anyhow it seems to be stable, the only bug I noticed is that the "Edit measurement unit" dialog is not localizable.
BTW, the language files on the site are not intended for this version (they are for the last stable version); the new language files will be shipped together with the IrfanView language files, available on IrfanView website.

I've rebuilt from scratch (thanks to the Frog CMS) the IrfanPaint site. Can you give me some opinion? Is there anything I should change?

Looks great - PDF help file ?

                Hi MItaly
New website looks great. Only a suggestion, but I think a downloadable pdf version of the help file would be useful, especially for those using beta versions. Great program - Al

Good idea. I'll add it soon.

Congratulations on the new site MItaly!

While the new design is OK, I really thought the current/old blue or brown site was very visually appealing. Sure, it had a few problems, but it was quite attractive to look at and use. I will miss it if it is replaced.

Well, it might have been attractive, but it was very tiring for the eyes, and if I noticed it by myself even though I'm young and I have no sight problems, I think it was a real pain for aged or visually impaired visitors.

May I ask a very simple question?

How to activate this dll and use it? I can see its toolbar nowhere.

Edit -> Show Paint dialog (F12)

You need an image open first!

                                MItaly,

Why does showing the Paint dialog change the zoom of the image visually, but not numerically (caption bar)? Why the change at all? I've noticed this in Fit image to window or desktop modes.
